Release

After impact the clubhead continues to be square to the line of flight for a short distance. A deviation at this point has initiated a draw or a fade. The right arm has straightened and now both arms are both fully extended. This is the release, which can only be accomplished by avoiding the forcing hit at the ball that most middle handicappers use. Now begins the naturally ensuing rotation of the hands, wrists and forearms and the process of "turning it over" is completed. Don't decelerate or let up on clubhead speed. Maintain the big big arc.

The swing is completed to the end in order to generate maximum power and accuracy. Also, it looks as though you knew what you were doing. The hips have continued to rotate until the chest faces the hole with the hands high. The shaft of the club is again parallel to the ground. Those of us who haven't done all of this, have done the best we can. Failure will not result in loss of face or incarceration.
